Old Men and their Mid-Life Crisis'!

It was Matt and Chad's Birthdays this week - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Chad's brother and Dad finally convinced him to take the motorcycle class and so he is now part of their "harley club" which included Matt, our brother-in-law. Look how super cool old men look when they are trying to be young!

Harry Potter at Midnight!- only for CRAZY people!

Camping and soccer- more soccer than camping

This week we had a soccer tournament in Cache County and decided to camp up Blacksmith Fork Canyon (thanks for suggesting it Trent). Well, it ended up being a lot more soccer than camping. We played some hard teams in higher brackets than us and even though the scores didn't tell the whole story about each game Chad was proud of the team. We got better every game and held our own against the top team. The score was zero to zero at half time and they scored one early in the second half. They did control pretty much the whole game but our defense held up until about ten/ fifteen minutes to the end of the game then the heat and the fact that they had played 2 games caught up to the defense and the other team scored 4 in a row. It was too bad because like I said the score didn't show the fight the boys put up.

Every other year we go to Bear Lake with Chad's family and stay at a cabin there. As you can tell from my bazillion pictures we had a great time thanks to Chad's parents. We played volleyball, went swimming indoors (during bad weather), went jet skiing,, and just plain relaxed! I had to share lots of pictures - sorry if it is picture overload.

More Bear Lake...

Fourth of July at Bear Lake

A new family member!

So Megan made me sad that I won't be having a cute little baby ever again so Chad, against his better judgement, gave into London and me and let us get a new baby of our own. If you know anything about me you know this is a HUGE step for me because a am NOT a dog person. They are kinda stinky, they shed hair, and puppies chew everything up. So why in the world did we get a puppy well it all started a couple months ago when Chad's mom got a new puppy- Zoe. She is a Cavalier St. King Charles too and she is the sweetest little dog. She has a cute personality, good with the kids, a lap dog, doesn't bark. London fell in love and tried to convince grandma to give her up and let us take her home. Well, of course grandma wasn't gonna give her up so we have had to make many trips to see Zoe over the past couple of months which kinda made me want a dog like Zoe- not just any dog. Anyway we decided to tend Zoe for a couple days and see if we were up to the challange and I found out puppies are a lot of work and I decided I wasn't ready for a puppy. Well not 2 weeks later Jane calls us early one morning and says there is a puppy on KSL and they weren't asking too much. I told her no at first and then I started thinking well MAYBE... and this is what happened next....

her name is Rainey. Isn't she cute?
