Happy Birthday to TRENT, TRISTIN, MADISYN, and GRANDMA SHIRLEY!!!

Trent after Chad told him he was getting nothing for his birthday this year!

Is he turning 35 or 25? We aren't sure because he keeps trying to pass himself off as a twenty something- and sometimes he acts like it too! It's good because he keeps the rest of us young too! Happy Birthday Trent!

Tristin is the only one more obsessed with Twilight than me! We had a great time in LA and I found out that she is pretty easy to keep entertained and laughing. She is so easy going and I love that about her. Happy Birthday Tristin!

Madisyn just started junior high and is now WAY to cool to hang out with her relatives, but who can blame her we are a little strange! Happy Birthday and good luck in Junior High! I am with your dad- stay away from the boys!

We share a birthday and very similar personalities- so I can't forget Shirley! We are so grateful for you and my dad inviting me and the kids to Missouri. Who knew how much there is to do there! You sure kept us busy but you gave us memories for a life time! Happy Birthday!

Our last big fun before school started today - Raging Waters!

We went to Raging Waters this weekend for one last fun filled day. So sad for summer to be over, but so glad kids are back in school!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!

And mothers every where celebrate- it's back to school today. YIPPEE!! The boys started school this morning. London was a little sad because kindergarten has to wait until next week. I can't wait! Hope all of your kids have a great first week!

Soccer Pool Party-

The kids on Chad/ Austin's team got a little pay back yesterday at our pool party. They were dunking Chad and climbing all over him. I guess they needed pay back from all those laps and yelling at games. Chad promised them a party because they played well enough to make the championship game at the Strikers Cup. Cami let us use her pool and yard for the party- everyone had fun and we owe Cami a BIG favor for hosting that many 11 year old boys!

Austin tried to be Michael Phelps and broke a tooth instead!

This is the before and after pictures of Austin's pool accident yesterday. Chad threw a party for Austin's soccer team and Austin broke half his front tooth off trying to do the butterfly like Michael Phelps. I don't know how he did it but he came up and bit into the concrete edge of Cami's pool! We are just grateful Dr. Felt worked a half day today and fit him in. School starts Monday and I didn't want Austin starting sixth grade with messed up teeth!

More Twilight News

I just saw on the internet that they will release the twilight movie November 21 instead of in December. Anyone know if this is true? If so- Yippee! More of our Twilight fix!

All in a days events!

Today was soo CRAZY! 9:30-11:30 be to the championship game and get medals
11:30-12:15 feed kids and make it to football weigh in
12:30-1:30 be to Lisa's baby shower
12:30-3:30 first football weigh- in and game
{oh ya and we are watching my older sisters kids and we had Austin's friend so he could play soccer with us and my nephew tyker wanted to come to football- so drag along 6 kids}

Austin's team played in the strikers cup this week and made it to Saturdays Championship game. They took second but I was so proud of them. They played hard and never gave up! They had to play a division 2 LaRoca team with a couple kids that look like they shave in the morning! We aren't sure how a couple of those guys are 11 because they were the same size as Chad! Anyway we lost 0 to 2 but we still got the silver medals for second place. Austin didn't let those huge kids stop him - you can see the size difference in the pictures- they were a little confused how this little kid could just run around them and steal the ball!

Braden had his first football game today! He started on the defensive line and the offensive line. He plays nose tackle, right in front of the quarterback and he plays a guard, I think. I am still learning this football stuff. He got 2 fumbles and helped make a touch down. He also was the defensive line team captain. They won 6-0. So much for me thinking he would hate football he loved it! His old soccer team took first at the strikers cup and he didn't care 'cause he is a cool football player now! We'll never get him back to soccer at this rate! The really cool thing is Chad's dad played nose tackle for Roy high and was a black knight {when roy high had a good football team}. Maybe it's in the blood?

Chad's baby sister is having a baby! We had a shower today for Lisa, she is having a baby boy. I only got to go for 45 min but it was fun to see everyone!

My sister is celebrating her 12 year anniversary so her kids stayed with us this weekend and got to experience our crazy life- poor kids. My nephew Tyker also came to Bradens football game sporting a new buzz haircut for school!

Overall it was a great and busy day but I have to say I was so so proud of my boys! London starts AYSO soccer {Chad is coaching her too} and Cheerleading in 2 weeks so life will only get crazier. It is a good thing I thrive on chaos!

My Goodlooking Son!

Braden started football the day we got back from Missouri and he loves it! I thought he would cry and hate it but I can admit when I am wrong. He was made to play football- Chad says Braden has found his calling. Look how goodlooking he is in his dads old Roy High jersey!

More of our trip to LA

Here are more of me and Tristin on UCLA's campus for the Breaking Dawn Concert Series. We went to Westwood Village to eat and buy shoes! Later we went to tour UCLA's beautiful and enormous campus! There were lots of nude art sculptures and we decided to do our best rendition of their poses! I know we are nerds but what do you do when you have time to kill? We also saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants the next day before we flew home. Yes we were only there for 24 hours! CRAZY!

Confessions of My Twilight Obsessions-

Okay, so you should admit when you have a problem and I have a problem! Around the time Eclipse came out all the girls in my bunco group were all talking about this book called Twilight. When they told me it was a vampire love story I had no intentions of reading some cheesy vampire love story- weird! Later that week my sister-in-law brought the book over and said to just start reading. The book sat on my desk until London got sick and wouldn't leave my lap. I decided rather than sit and watch cartoons I would read Twilight. This is where it all started! I read it in 1 day and the next three books followed. So now comes the real confessions- in May Stephenie Meyer came to SLC for the Host tour. Tristin and I got tickets but she would only sign 2 twilight books and we wanted all of ours signed so we bought Austin a ticket and drug him along. He played his DS the whole time and then when Stephenie asked him if he read the books he got a little embarrassed. He didn't know if he should lie! He said he didn't want to hurt her feelings!

Second confession- Tristin and me at Barnes and Noble at midnight to buy Breaking Dawn!

Third- Here is Tristin and me this week in Los Angeles to see the Breaking Dawn Concert Series with Stephenie and Justin Fuhrsteid from Blue October. Yes we actually flew to LA to get our 4th book signed. I keep telling myself I needed a complete set of signed books but I think I am in denial about my problem! The Concert was awesome Justin has turned a country lovin' girl into his new fan! He had an awesome personality and this was much better than going just to get your book signed!

Now that you see how extensive my obsession is, maybe you can offer some advice to curve my need for anything Twilight.
