A little update....

So Twilght came out last Thursday! Twelve of us went this weekend- I am too old to make the midnight showing and we did the reserved seats so we didn't have to wait in line. Reserved seats are the way to go! I don't want to ruin the movie for anyone else so all I will say is it was okay. I think I had high expectations because I loved the book, but maybe I will like it more the second time I see it because the hype won't be there.

Braden had his birthday last week so we had some family over for cake this weekend. I apparently was not aware that U of U and BYU were playing this weekend. I think my brother-in-law ran out the door after cake so he could go watch the game. We ended up turning it on and getting pizza. The guys got bored when it ended up being a blow out so they decided to play air hockey and fuze ball instead.

I needed a project, so last week I started using a video program Chad got me for Christmas last year. I put my wedding video to music and used different transitions to fade in and out. It was so fun to do, so I started the kids video footage too. I wanted to put the wedding one on my blog but all the news reports of people stealiing information off of blogs has Chad freaked out so he doesn't want our wedding date on my blog. We got a kick out of how young everyone looked. {Brandy- you would have laughed}. Braden said me and Chad looked so young and respectable! What does that mean? My kids were glad that I got sick of sitting in front of the computer because once I start a project I am one track minded! This weekend I was filming the kids and Austin says why are you filming us, so you can spend another week working on your videos? My kids know me a little too well!

Everyone I know changes their blog backgrounds so I thought I would try something new. The holidays are approaching- are you ready?

Happy Birthday Braden and Jace

Braden and Jace share a birthday week so Happy Birthday to both of you!

Do You Have Your Twilight Tickets Yet?

Our Latest Event...

So Austin will probably kill me for posting this, but he expects me to embarrass him so he shouldn't be surprised. Our latest development in the Buttars' household is that Austin got his braces on. Wierdly enough he acted a little excited about it. I think alot of his friends have them and so they aren't worried if they are cool or not. So while he was getting them on I was taking pictures with my phone {he had some crazy things attached to his mouth so I got some funny pictures}and all of the sudden he started freaking out. I guess he couldn't breathe through his nose and all the stuff in his mouth just started freaking him out. So here I am taking pictures to embarrass him with and he is suffocating! I don't think I will be winning Mother of the Year any time soon!I didn't post the really embarrassing pictures but here are the before and after pictures.

Coach Sloans 1000th win!

My neighbor has 14th row season tickets to the Jazz but no one in her family was able to go on Friday so she offered the tickets to me and Chad. Because Braden is having a birthday in a week I gave my ticket up to him. {We have bribed him not to have a party this year.} Chad took Braden to dinner and to the Jazz game and to top it off Sloan had his 1000th win so Braden got some cool free stuff. What more could he ask for? Thanks Peggy!

Happy Hollows Eve!

We kept halloween simple this year- London was a black cat, Braden was the guy from Lord of the rings with no face but he wanted to carry his Jedi sword, and Austin was the scariest costume of all- himself! Austin didn't want to dress up this year so he went to his friends to watch spooky movies. London put a bow tie on our black cat and she found this more funny than the cat did. Hope you all had a spooky Halloween!
